Rubén Martín, our chef, has left his mark in prestigious gastronomic establishments and has collaborated with renowned chefs. His creative skills in the kitchen has earned him multiple awards, including prizes for the best tapa in Zaragoza and an outstanding position as a finalist in the Ternasco de Aragón contest, among other notable achievements.

In addition to his culinary achievements, Rubén Martín has ventured into the world of television by occupying the position of culinary director in the TV Show “La Batalla de las Tapas”. He has also performed other functions, such as acting as a gastronomic advisor to restaurants, and has given training in cooking schools. He has also participated in enriching projects such as ALDEHA (food, sports and healthy habits) or Club Inclucina, from ATADES.

Rubén’s cuisine is characterized by its sincerity, frankness and his eagerness to vindicate. Although he is a master of culinary techniques, his approach focuses on rescuing and revitalizing typical Aragonese dishes and native recipes, to which he brings a refreshing and renewed touch, being one of the best known exponents of contemporary Aragonese gastronomy.


La Flor de Lis captivates its diners with a unique décor that pays homage to the city’s main monuments, fusing contemporary elements with nods to Aragonese art. The floors, composed of beautiful ceramic tesserae, evoke the vividly colored tiles that adorn the domes of the emblematic Basilica del Pilar, while Mudejar art is present through elegant arcades and wooden ceiling fixtures, passing through subtle reminiscences of the ancient Roman wall, which add a historical and unique touch to the atmosphere of the place.
